This successful edition brought together a few hundred students, Employees from the TU Delft and people from the business life who came and listen to the inspiring lectures of architects Francine Houben, Richard Horden and Ken Yeang and structural engineers Nicollo Baldassini and Andre de Roo. The committee and the U-dispuut would like to thank the speakers for their attendance and fascinating performance around the theme ‘Facing the Integration’, as well as all the guests who were present during this edition of the symposium. 'The Value of Design 2011' is an afternoon symposium held on the 3th of May in 2011 on architecture, structural engineering and the overlapping areas of these two disciplines. A number of top architects and engineers give their views on this subject, focusing on the symposium's theme of 'Facing the Integration'. The symposium will be held in the Auditorium at the University of Technology in Delft.
