The sixth edition of the Value of Design symposium was organized on the 2nd of May in 2018. The theme of the 2018 edition of the Value of Design Symposium was ‘Shaping the Extraordinary’. Designs of buildings which have astonishing shapes will be elaborated from both the architectural and the structural point of view. Architects design with their outstanding creativity the most extraordinary shapes. An engineer is needed to develop this shape into a real and safe building. Every speaker gave remarkable examples of the connection between the two disciplines and how this bond is needed to shape the extraordinary.
